Lauren & Ryan left warm, sunny Florida and headed west to Colorado for their Saphire Point Elopement. Sight unseen, these two chose Saphire Point for the location of where they would say their vows to one another.

Saphire Point is the perfect place to hold their intimate elopement. Nestled in beautiful Dillon, Colorado, Saphire Point overlooks the reservoir below. With Lauren & Ryan’s closest family and friends attendance these two would express their love to each other. With Denver (Laurens son & Ryans stepson) holding his parents hands, the first kiss was had and cheers were made.

Shortly following the beautiful ceremony, the three of us ventured off to capture their bride and groom images. We stayed up at Saphire Point until the sun began to set. At this point, I knew of a location down the street that I saw as we arrived to the ceremony.

With the sun setting and the temperature starting to drop, we made sure to try to stay warm. This location overlooking the reservoir and the mountains in the backdrop couldn’t have been anymore beautiful or perfect. With each image I captured, you could see the love that these two share for each other.

Instead of having your traditional reception, these two opted for more of a relaxed vibe. Dillon Damn Brewery was the host of their reception and here is where they could enjoy all their family and friends. Theses are my types of receptions. Laughter, smiles and good conversations.

For me personally, I think this is how every wedding should be. No large wedding parties. No bouquet or garter tosses. Just the people you love in a location that is pure magic. ELOPE!
