Meghan and Henry’s Loveland Pass Sunrise Engagement Session is by far one of my favorite sessions to date. The location, the weather the couple, all of it was perfection.

Colorado is a destination spot for these two and Henry’s first time in Colorado, as they currently reside in Indiana. These two planned on coming out this month to find their wedding venue, so it would be a perfect time to shoot their engagement session. Mountains are what they wanted for their location. Mountains they get. Loveland Pass is the perfect spot for all the views.

Meg found me on Instagram and instantly thought I wouldn’t be available for their date. Thankfully, I was available, and beyond stoked to capture the two of them. As we started planning their session, I knew that their trip to Colorado would be a quick one. Sunrise would be the best time to fit their schedule. Early morning sessions are some of my favorites. Very few people are out and the lighting can be perfect.

The three of us planned on meeting at Loveland Pass about a half hour before the sun would rise. We made our way out past Pass Lake, to a little spot I know that gives some incredible sweeping views. As the sun started to rise and the light started to show, I captured the love of these two. For the next two hours we would explore Loveland Pass, getting to know each other more and capturing some truly amazing images.

Again, one of my favorite engagement sessions to date. The lighting, the location, the couple. Perfection.
