Lauren and Carson scrapped the typical large wedding to have a beautiful, amazing Loveland Pass Elopement.

These two wanted an epic backdrop for their intimate elopement, and I promised that I would find the perfect location for them. With so many locations in Colorado to choose from, I knew it had to be perfect. Loveland Pass was it! Loveland Pass not only provided an incredible backdrop for their elopement, but also private with very few people around.

We started their ceremony on the top of a rock, overlooking the mountain range behind them. As Carson and Lauren began their vows, a light snow started to fall. The ceremony was absolutely perfect. Some tears were shed, and laughter was prominent. With the two of them expressing their love to each other they became officially married.

For the next few hours, we braved the cold and explored the landscape in front of us. The true love between Lauren and Carson came through as we captured some pretty beautiful moments. For a finishing touch and an end to their elopement, these two had their first dance 12,000 feet above sea level. Who wouldn’t want to have their first dance on top of a mountain?
